Horseback Riding through the Vineyards and Wineries

Horseback Riding through the Vineyards and Wineries

Have a striking horseback ride on the Wine Road of Mendoza, passing through vineyards that are located in one of the best wine producing sub regions of the Central Valley with marvelous views of the snowy peaks of the Andes Mountain Range.
Visit two wonderful wineries after riding through their vineyards and then taste the extraordinary wines.
A gourmet lunch will be the grand finale of this unforgettable tour, paired with suitable wines.

At an agreed upon time in the morning, our wine specialist guide will bring all of the guests to the ‘estancia’ (ranch) where this adventure will begin. It is located in the area of Luján de Cuyo, half an hour from the City of Mendoza.

Upon arrival, our hosts will greet us with a welcome breakfast and show us the well maintained facilities, while the seasoned gauchos (Argentinean cowboys) prepare and saddle the horses.

Moments later, you will receive suggestions and advice from the guide of this tour about how to ride, in order to make the most of this calm trip through the vineyards.

We will leave the estancia behind, headed towards the first winery to mingle amongst the vineyards that surround us where we can appreciate the beauty of the Andes Mountain Range.

During the tour, the guide will give a talk about the typical varietals of the region and the reason for which you get such high quality wines.
Upon arrival at the first destination, the winery guides will be waiting to welcome us and tour the facilities. This tour will end with a wine tasting.

A little while later we will get our horses that are in the care of the gaucho who accompanies us on this journey and continue slowly on the trails that are surrounded by vineyards and woods to go to the next winery.

When we arrive, the staff will give us a tour around the tasting rooms and wine cellars, and provide us with an explanation about their system of winemaking.

After finishing the visit, we will have a wonderful gourmet lunch paired with excellent wines.
After lunch, you will have the opportunity to share your horseback riding experiences and then we will return to the city of Mendoza to end a unforgettable day.
